Filmspotting 500
Last Saturday I had the pleasure of traveling to Chicago, to witness the recording of the 500th episode of a podcast called Filmspotting.
It was wonderful! I met the hosts and fellow fans. I also got to witness some if the production magic behind a show, I have loved for nine years.
Seeing Dana Stevens, Slate film critic, and part of The Slate Culture Gabfest, another podcast I love – was also wonderful. Particularly when her list of favorites included Children of Men and There Will Be Blood.
The Music Box Theatre spoke to me as a visual wonder. I started drawing it as soon as I saw it, with varying levels of success.
Here's to the next 500!
Here's a little joke.
